Artist Statement
On the cusp of the supposed Y2K bug in 2000 I created this vinyl acetate etching, subject matter depicting the gardens of 24 Brook Road Darlington, Western Australia. Looking across the terrace, we often enjoyed drinking champagne at dusk with the whole Family here and enjoying the ambience of the ‘Hills’. This print edition of 50 was used for Christmas cards that year and there was great feedback from those that received them.
