Abstract
This media briefing organised by the Australian Science Media Centre (AusSMC) brought together differing news agencies regarding the IEEE ISTAS’13 event held in Toronto, Canada. According to Lucy Simmonds, ASMC Media Officer, “… it wasn’t quite as smooth as we’d hoped with some pdf and phone problems to start off with but the overall sound quality was good and we can pass on the slides to any interested journalists.”
