Position
Flemings Pty Ltd was one of the very last ‘old school’ supermarket chains in Sydney, Australia at their heyday in the 1980’s and 1990’s before Woolworths took them all over. My six (6) month role was to assist both the Lead Floor-hand and the lead Despatch Clerk in re-stocking shelves, audits and stocktaking, despatch control checks, recycling and rubbish disposal. On two occasions I was awarded ‘Employee of the Month’ which meant a smiling portrait photo was displayed prominently in the community news board on the inside front of the store.
