In an ongoing capacity, my experience as an Out-of-School Care Worker was instrumental in my future choices to work as an educator. The role required me to travel across Sydney to assist in the preparation of materials and equipment for children's out-of-school education and recreational activities. The Concord Out of School care facility was located in a church hall and the principal employment was managed through the Strathfield City Council who provided oversight of our conduct as employees managing children's behaviour, guiding children's social development, preparing and conducting activities for the children including local library visits. In my role, I also was encouraged to entertain the children by reading and playing games, or facilitate recreational activities, with all routine hygiene maintained by female co-workers.

Attained ‘Working with Children’ Federal and State records check;
Maintained St. John’s Ambulance First Aid certificate;
Successful full-year part-time casual contract
