Streamfolio Pty Ltd
Research
In 2004 I began exploring how body-worn video technologies could be used in an educational context across the Vocational Education & Training sector in Australia. This topic and practice has become the basis of my PhD. research in the long term.
EDUPOV Pty Ltd
The EDUPOV initiative was created in April 2008 whilst in discussion with Geoff Lubich who at the time was an automotive mechanic trainer at the Plibara College in Karratha, Western Australia. We took this through to a full startup company between April 2009 - April 2011. Our key developments were focussed on ‘platform-as-a-service’ platform for secure and private video sharing for assessment purposes matching POV video equipment and related activities.
Streamfolio Pty Ltd
I then identified a number of key contacts and established a community of practice discussion group which lead to the formation of Streamfolio Pty. Ltd (originally called EDUPOV Pty. Ltd ) with Mr. Geoff Lubich, Mr. Leo Gaggl and Mr. Craig Lubich. As a startup company we experienced all the typical challenges that a startup faces however the core concept of a business continued to grow and prosper. Streamfolio ceased operation in July 2014 after a few years of intensive development, trials, testing and a great deal of learning.
