Scrivener

After yet another system ‘crash’ and loss of writing using Microsoft Word I set out on a mission to find a research authoring tool that would easily enable auto-saving whilst upgrading from a scroll-to-see composition of data to something that resembled an archive of notes.

I was rewarded with Scrivener.

Research requires tools that have been ethically aligned with the premise of neutrality that just as a pencil can be used to write, they can also be used to stab others with, so with intent Scrivener gives me a parchment to inscribe my words and curbs my rage acquired by other programs who systematically crash as a feature.
