Artist Statement

Carrying a visual diary around with me over the years has provided what was essentially an analog camera, a substrate upon which to pitch ideas and jog visual notes around in my mind's eye. Over the years as an artist I’ve moved between differing modes of visual stealth and the key foundation to return to has always been drawing. The act of drawing is for me like I am connecting my head into a visual inquiry that stills the mind and brings out the magic of the moment, a real and visceral activity very unlike digital creation computing
