Artist Statement

Taking inspiration from artist David Smith, who produced amazing works of abstract expressionism, resulted in a whole series of works made from found and forged steel. My artist studio in Dardanup, Western Australia was soon filled with mystical animals of all descriptions. ‘Fish Form 1’ or ‘Big Fish’ as it ended up being called is in pride of place with the Ambrose Family estate in Victoria, Australia.
