Artist Statement

The fundamental skill and foundational pivot from which a visual artist relates is definitely that in the act of drawing - where the mind’s eye meets the retinal display and the consciousness of living meets the subconscious tyrannical foe who is constantly derailing the fluid relational spirit of seeing and recording. This boxed set of twenty-two (22) drawings provides a glimpse into the wonderful and magical east coast of Australia, all captured on a trip of reckoning with my daughter Amelia in December 2015.
