Artist Statement
After another bout of severe depression brought on by a broken shoulder, twenty-four (2) Endone tablets, and as many bottles of wine I set out to reclaim my brain creative. In the first hour, I managed to draw one (1) drawing seated in the backyard before reality kicked in and I returned to changing nappies, putting away the shopping, and preparing to write up yet another job application having been retrenched two months prior. It was a negatively stressful period and yet I learned a lot in the process as I clambered out of yet another seemingly impossible array of lives challenges.
