Artist Statement

Throughout my life I have taken my thoughts to paper - used drawing as a means to download or brain dump ideas and in the action, in the doing, sometimes these drawings come to life in other forms. In this case I was thinking through how to represent differing emotional states etched on glass with a figure reading this as a visual mish-mash … the flickering of the candle the animated illumination source.
