It's nice to report that another generation of Gregson artistry will soon be on view in Darlington. Dimity Gregson, daughter of Gail and David Gregson, and her husband Alexander (who has been exhibiting for several years) make their Darlington debut at the lovely small mezzanine gallery in Darlington Hall next month. Their exhibition features Alex's paintings (mainly landscapes from around the Wheatbelt) and a series of textiles dealing with colour and composition from Dimity. It's always great to have a chance to help locally launch new artistic talent, so make a note of the dates from the cover poster by Alexander. Have a happy July.
