Position
Encouraged by colleagues and friends this investment as an entrepreneur provided me with the experience of managing and directing the operations of a private art gallery - Alexander Gallery of Fine Arts. Starting from scratch, I hand polished the small shop front floors, painted the walls, set up and installed track lighting, assisted the owner to outfit the venue with safety features and a small accommodation unit at the rear of the premises. Two artists exhibited their works through the gallery and numerous local artists hosted their stock works which were exhibited between exhibitions. Due to medical reasons this venture was short-lived.
Outcomes
Established a private art gallery;
Conducted professional arts related activities including two (2) exhibitions;
Hosted local artists works and conducted cultural arts activities with local artists
