On March 10, 2013 the researcher joined a number of other educational learning technology leaders in a Google Hangout with Vance Stevens titled ‘Veillance Hangout with Alex Hayes and posse’ in which topics such as the constitution of veillance as coined by Steve Mann (Cherry 2013; Mann 2013), the key difference between augmented and augmediated reality (Vance Stevens Streamed live on 10 Mar 2013) as well as issues around wearable technology including Google Glass.
