Artist Statement
Studying under the tutelage of artists Pat Bandurski, Jenni Doherty, Russel Sheridan and Linda Scrolys at Edith Cowan University, Western Australia on the Bunbury campus I was encouraged to explore abstract expression using mixed media collage. During my unit of study in the third year of the Bachelor of Arts in Education I produced a ‘dazzling’ array of differing types of creative works, leading up to my Artist-in-Residence position at the University during that year end break and the commencement of my Associate Degree in Art (Performing Art) at the same campus.
